As a designer, this wedding was an exciting one. The bride and groom were adamant that they did not want roses. She absolutely loved the bouquet that I did for the Aislewalk 2009 edition, whose vibrant colours lent to the 60's theme of the shoot. Halfyard Designs successfully accomplished that, giving Emily and Rob some pretty unique flowers and colours to work with, using the venues Bethany Baptist Church in Richmond and the Sheraton Wall Center in Vancouver.The protea had to be my favorite flower in your entire wedding. As you will see, it was carried out throughout almost the entire wedding. It is the yellow 'leggy' looking flowers. Very cool indeed!
